South Vietnam · 4 expeditions

Rivers, deltas, and the country's quietest backroads.

The South is water country. The Mekong arrives in nine mouths, and the delta is laced with channels, floating villages, and dirt tracks that flood and re-form every monsoon. We ride the delta the way locals move — half on small bikes, half on river boats. It's the gentlest of our routes by terrain and the most foreign by atmosphere.

What's in South Vietnam

  • Mekong Delta loop

Can Tho, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh — backroad villages, floating markets, river ferries.

  • Saigon escape rides

Out of HCMC into the rubber plantations and coastal backroads.

  • South–Central transition

Mui Ne dunes, Da Lat descent — the bridge between coast and highlands.

November to April · dry season, lower river levels, easier ferry crossings.
Terrain
